May

May 1st brought a day nice enough to take a motorcycle ride. Dad took Hannah on a ride. Noah didn't feel like going for a ride, but Hannah enjoyed the weather.

We started to plan the garden. Mom & Dad said they wouldn't plant strawberries in the garden, but we could put strawberries in a patio pot and grow our own. We bought some small plants and helped replant them.

May 4th, after 3 weeks of rehearsals, learning to dance and learning our scripts, we performed a shortened version of Newsies.

It was so much fun. We love drama!

In mid-May Grandpa & Grandma came up to see us.
Grandma joined mom & Hannah at a birthday party. They packed meals for Feed My Starving Children in the morning, then they dropped Hannah at yet another birthday party in the afternoon. This string of parties actually tipped Hannah over the edge so she's sick of birthday cupcakes.
Noah relaxed a little more on Saturday, taking Grandpa & Dad to the driving range to golf.

After the long day, we got to golf with Grandpa in the backyard.

Later that week, Noah officially moved from being a Wolf Cub Scout to a Bear Cub Scout.

He's a proud Cub Scout!

Over Memorial Day weekend, Daddy bought Noah a Pocket Knife. As a Bear Scout, he will be working on pocket knife skills, so he was very excited to get his own pocket knife.

Hannah and her cousins found a turtle (after her cousin painted her face, of course.)
May was a fun month!
