Grandma & Grandpa visit

This week was a good week at school. I've been doing much better lately at school with my behavior! I had a few weeks where my self control was worn out by Spanish class, but I have been able to control my blurting better lately.

We had a pretty normal week. Daddy went to volleyball on Monday night, Mommy played on Tuesday. Wednesday Daddy went on a church field trip so Mommy took us to Soo Bahk Do. We're getting tired of Soo Bahk Do again and don't want to do it anymore. I have a hard time controlling myself sometimes, but I really am good at it. Hannah is good at it, too. But, I REALLY want to do Science Explorers at school on Wednesdays instead.

After Soo Bahk Do, we made our own supper: Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches. AND it was a great day because we got mail. Mommy sent Hannah to get the mail and she found a letter for her and a letter for me from Angie! She sent me a froggie card - I love froggies and so does Angie! Hannah jumped up and down for 3 minutes because she was so excited, but I just opened mine and read it. We love Angie so much!

Thursday night, we got to see Mommy before AND after volleyball! But, we were so excited from a fun night that we had a hard time falling asleep. My brain didn't shut off until after 10 o'clock!

Friday, Mommy made us do our optional homework for school. She laughed at my paper. I'm not sure why, but Daddy smiled at my assignment, too. Mom said I didn't quite understand the last question - I don't understand what's wrong with my answer. I know 4+3 is 7 and so is 5+2. That's how I got my answers.

Shortly after homework was done, we were surprised when Grandma & Grandpa S. walked in the door! We were so happy to see them! We played Hangman with them  for a little while. (Hangman is our new favorite game. We play it in Spanish class.) Then we went out to a yummy restaurant! The had delicious bread to go with my Mac & Cheese; Hannah's spaghetti & meatballs. This place was so cool, we could draw on the table with crayons, and there was a guy walking around singing in Italian! He even came to our table and sang a song to us. Since we were kids, he sang a song and tried to get us to guess what movie it was from. Hannah and I needed a little help to remember it was Bella Notte from Lady &The Tramp. Bella Notte means BEAUTIFUL NIGHT.

Saturday morning Hannah went to Thomas tool with Grandpa before we had basketball. We played another game - this time against the yellow team. The score was close, but we won! Hannah and I are not the most aggressive players on the team, but we're learning. The coach is really helping us try to learn the rules of the game. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing - mostly with Grandma, but Grandpa quit working in the afternoon to play with us in the basement.

Today was a fun day in Sunday School. We made dirt pudding! It was messy, but really a fun way to learn about what the story of the sower is about. We SMASHED our cookies like Jesus SMASHES sin, put the cookies in some pudding to make dirt. Then, we put a candy heart in our dirt pudding to remember how God's word grows in our hearts. Then we got to EAT our dirt pudding while Daddy read our bible story  and Mommy drew our lesson on the board.

After Sunday School, we came home and read some books to Grandma & Grandpa. We were sad that they had to go. But, we are excited that tomorrow is back to school, and we're going to get more snow!

Have a great week!

our busy january

In January, we were VERY excited to get back to school and be with our friends again!

The first weekend of January, Mommy had a tournament and we got to go right away in the morning. Mom & Dad's friend, Diva Renee found out she had cancer and Mommy's team got new shirts for her and her whole family. We got new shirts, too! Mine was pink with pink writing (like Mommy's), so I LOVE it a LOT! Noah's is black (like daddy's) but he doesn't like it since it has pink on it. All our friends on the Diva team got some, too. We looked good!

The next day, I had another birthday party for a friend from school. I have gone to a lot of birthday parties; I really love my classmates! Noah has been invited to one, so he's kind of bummed his class doesn't have as many parties. This party was at a swimming pool - it was so much fun! While I was swimming, Daddy took Noah to LegoLand at the Mall of America. He had a lot of fun.

Then, after school on Tuesday that week, Daddy surprised us by taking us from the bus stop to Pump It Up Playtime to meet our friend Grayson and bounce on the bouncy-houses. It was so awesome! They were filming a commercial there, too, so we might even be on their TV commercial!

The third weekend in January was our first weekend of basketball. Noah has been looking forward to this for a REALLY long time! I wanted to do a cheerleading class instead of basketball, but mommy said there was only basketball. I have had fun at basketball since I started, though. We both got on the same team - we're the green team.

The fourth weekend in January started with a movie night at church. We watched Finding Nemo on the big screen downstairs with a bunch of our friends. We had fishy-shaped pizzas, popcorn, did coloring sheets, made jellyfish and Mommy even won a BIG jar of M&Ms!

When we got home, we found Grandma & Grandpa had come while we were gone! It was a fun weekend with them. They got to watch us play basketball, then came home and we helped Grandpa put a new light in the Rompus Room.

The last weekend in January was spirit week at school! We had to pay $2.50 to dress up during the week (the money was given to kids who have cancer to help them get better). Monday was pajama day. We have had pajama day in preschool and it was our favorite day! Though, they did have Twin Day, that we thought was all about us! Turns out that twin day/favorite sport day is a day we could dress like a friend or we could dress like a certain sport. We wore camo shirts so we could dress alike since we're twins. We also had future career day (we both dressed up like Lifetouch photographers), mismatched clothes & wacky hair day, decade day (we dressed up in our tie-dye shirts. Daddy said it was from the 60s - lots of our friends wore tie-dye shirts that day, too.)
mismatched clothes & wacky hair day

Aunt Dani sent Noah a new helicopter to replace the one that he got at Christmas. (The one he got for Christmas didn't work when he opened it.) We both got to fly it. It was really fun! Unfortunately, Noah broke it the first week he had it. We loved flying it, though! It was awesome!

One day after Sunday School, Mom & Dad took us to Ikea instead of going home. we were excited until we found out we had to go pick out a chair for our room and didn't get to play in the play area. First we ate in the restaurant, then we played in some of the fun kids' rooms and found the perfect chairs for our desks. I got pink (of course!) and Noah chose a green one. Then, as we were walking past the play area, Mommy & Daddy checked to see if there was room for us to play while they checked out. So, we got to play in the Ikea play area! The ballpit was closed, but we still had a fun time!

Noah picked out a new book from the library at school. He got the Wizard of Oz. He was so excited! It was a 200+ page book. He took about a week and a half to read it but he was very excited to finish it!

After our first week of school in February, Mommy & Daddy took us to the Sweetheart dance at the community center. It was fun, as usual. our friend, Eliza, from Sunday School was there, too, so I played with her. It wore us out, though! It was a great dance!

The very next day was a busy birthday party day! Noah had a birthday party in the morning His good friend, Ben, had a Lego birthday party. He was SO excited about the party! I went to basketball all by myself. I was really scared at first - REALLY nervous. But when I got there, the black team split up and a girl came on my team, so I had a friend to play with. And, we also got to play a game! We played against the red team, so that was so awesome! I had a great time.

After we picked up Noah and had lunch, we got ready to go to a Karate birthday party for one of my classmates. Noah came with me, since it was one of the boys in my class.  It was a fun party. We didn't do an obstacle course, but we did get to break a board! A REAL board (not the fake plastic boards that go back together after we break them in soo bahk do.) When we got home, Mommy had painted the wall around the sliding glass door. That has been unfinished for 3 years, so it's weird to see it painted!

Daddy helped me build a great fort in the backyard the next day. We used our snow block maker and made a strong wall in our backyard!

The next week was a busy one at school. We made Valentines bags and got to write valentines to all our friends. Both of us decided to give Valentines to everyone in both classes. I gave fun dip, Noah gave pixie stix. We spent Monday night writing all our Valentines to our friends. (Noah had to finish up on Tuesday night.)

Tuesday was exciting because it was the 100th day of school! We did a lot of 100 activities and games. We even got to dress up like we were 100 years old (though Noah didn't want to dress up like a 100 year old. He just wanted to wear his school uniform.)

I really was looking forward to Valentine's Day this year. Mommy came to my Valentines' Day party! She helped make candy jars love bugs with the class. We were excited to get dropped off at school (instead of riding the bus) and to get to show Mommy our classrooms! I loved having mommy at our Valentine's Day party.

The next weekend was a long weekend because we stayed home Monday & Tuesday. (It was President's Day and a teacher workshop day). We had some fun days with Daddy. We were REALLY excited for our first day back at school, though because Daddy volunteered at lunch! It's so awesome to have Mommy & Daddy come to our school.

This past weekend was a GREAT weekend! We had basketball on Saturday morning, then we went to the library for 2 hours. We checked out the tree in the middle of the library and the play area at Brookdale library, then explored their book collections. After we came home, we played in the snow for a while. I worked a little on my snowfort. We missed Mommy (she was at a volleyball tournament) but we had so much fun with Daddy!

Sunday was a busy day! We read some books before Sunday School. I finished a 6 chapter book!

Then we went to Sunday School and sang in church. After church, we had a soup dinner at church with our friends, then went home to get ready for sledding. We met some of our friends at the sledding hill and had SO MUCH FUN! It was so awesome. I started skating with mommy. I did a lot better than I did 2 years ago when I took lessons! But I had more fun sledding down the hill.

We were worn out after a long weekend!
Wishing you a great week!
Hannah

Happy New Year!!

Has 6 REALLY been so busy that we've gone a whole month with no blog entries!

It's been a busy month.
After our birthday was over, Christmas really snuck up on us!

Our last day of school for the year (2012) was Friday, December 21 and it was winter party day! Mommy came and helped out at my classroom party so musical chairs was my FAVORITE part of the party. It was really fun to have mommy in my class. I won my first round of musical chairs, so when it came time to play again, I let my friends in my group get a chair before me so they could win a game, too. Hannah was sad that Mommy couldn't be in her classroom party, but Mommy said she'd come to Hannah's class another time.

Saturday before Christmas we went to Grandma & Grandpa Schuelke's house. It was a busy day of gifts, food and playing with our cousins but we had so much fun! We celebrated Christmas and our birthdays all in the same day so it was a day FULL of gifts!

The next day, we got to see both of our great grandmas. Grandpa's mom and family had brunch at Great Grandma's apartment building. I challenged a few people to Connect 4 - I got that from Sue and it is my FAVORITE game. It's SOO fun!

After that, we got to go to the radio station and see how it worked. It was all computers! I expected something fancier to put radio waves all over the area for people to hear, but it was just a bunch of computer stuff with a microphone. Angie showed us the satellites that send the radio waves to a big tower that sends the radio sounds out all across the area. It was pretty cool. The tower isn't far from Grandma & Grandpa's house!

We also got to go to Great Grandma Leona's house to see her while Daddy & Grandma dropped off a TV with the Wii at her house. Mom's uncle Al was there, and he picked on Hannah. I was ready to go when Dad said it was time to go, but we liked seeing Great Grandma for a while.

Monday was Christmas Eve. We hung out with Grandma & Grandpa a little while before driving home Monday. When we got home, Mommy had to go out again to Target to buy some things, then when she got home, Daddy left. He said he was going to pick up our cousin Michelle. We looked forward to seeing her - we haven't seen her in probably a year! Hannah helped Mommy wrap gifts that Mommy had bought for Michelle so she had gifts to open when we opened our gifts on Christmas.

We hung stockings for Michelle, we put out our cookies for Santa and went to bed on Christmas Eve looking forward to Christmas!

When we got up, Santa had come and gave us what we asked for! Mommy & Daddy gave us lots of fun gifts, too. It was a really great Christmas! Hannah bought me the Spiderman glove with web shooter solution, so I can shoot webs from my wrist like Spiderman. It was AWESOME! I gave her the Brave Bow & Arrow, and she loved that. Santa gave me the Cars 2 Lego Oil Rig Set and he gave Hannah a Monster High Doll. Just what we wanted! I also got a bunch of other Legos (I LOVE LEGOS! I WANT ALL THE LEGOS IN THE WORLD WHEN I'M SEVEN!!!)

Our older cousin Michelle had come to stay with us on Christmas Day, too. She was staying with a friend of her dad for a few days before Christmas, and then Daddy got her on Christmas Eve so she could spend Christmas with her family. We were very happy to see her.

After we opened our gifts and had breakfast, we couldn't WAIT to play with our new gifts! It was nice to have Michelle eat Christmas dinner with us.We ate on fancy Christmas plates and we had a guest for dinner so it felt special to us.

At about 3 o'clock, Grandma & Grandpa Perkins came to our house. (They were supposed to be to Minnesota sooner, but they had bad luck and their car gave them trouble for a few days and they spent a few days in Arkansas fixing it.) We were happy to see them! They brought our cousin Alex, so we played with him and helped to entertain him while he was here. We got to open our gifts from Grandma & Grandpa while they were here, too. What a fun day!

The day after Christmas, we were very excited to go to a Christmas party at Sue's house! We've been looking forward to spending Christmas vacation at our old daycare with our old friends since this summer. We got up and got ready to go, told Grandma & Grandpa & Michelle & Alex goodbye and went to Sue's.

We had so much fun at Sue's for the week! My best friend Grayson was there and Hannah LOVED to help Sue take care of the babies. And, since we're schoolkids now, we got to sit on the couch and watch a movie during naptime.

That Friday was the Diva Christmas party! We love the Diva Christmas party because it's a chance to get together with all the other Diva kids, eat yummy food, play late into the night and have a great time!

The Saturday after Christmas, we went to take our 6 year pictures. Mommy bought us cool hats, I got a cool shirt & tie and Hannah had a sparkly dress and sweater. (She LOVES sparkles & glitter!). The pictures turned out kind of cool.

Then after pictures, while Mommy bought the photos Daddy took us to Barnes & Noble to spend the $10 gift cards from Angie. We got some chapter books - I got the Junie B Jones book I've had my eye on for a while. Hannah got the 2nd book of Ivy & Bean since she's working on the 1st one right now. I read my Junie B Jones book on the way home and finished it that day! I really like Junie B Jones books. She's my favorite! I even sat in the car while Hannah & Mommy went to the pet store to buy some pills for Cheyenne. While they were in the pet store, they looked at fish, lizards, snakes, gerbils, hamsters and lots of dogs, but I was content to read a few chapters in my new book.

We spent New Year's Eve Day at home with Mom because Daddy had to work after a week vacation. We were anxious to play with our new Christmas toys, but we also had homework! We got Gingerbread men that had to be disguised so they could make it through the Christmas season with out being EATEN! I chose to make my gingerbread man Luke Skywalker! Hannah made hers into Santa. They turned out pretty nice! Daddy was proud of us when he got home.

We were supposed to spend New Year's Eve night at a friends' house with Daddy's volleyball team, but one of our friends got sick and  Mommy & Daddy decided that they didn't want us exposed to the sickness of our friend, so we stayed home and celebrated with Mommy.

She brought us to the Dairy Queen for ice cream treats, then we went home and played Wii games until 10 o'clock. Then we counted down with Mommy's iPad to the new year before falling asleep after a busy day and a REALLY busy year!)

I'd better sign off for now - I'll catch up on blogging now that we're getting back into a regular routine with school and work and everything we're doing. I'm REALLY Looking forward to our school spirit week this week (January 28-Feb1). Tomorrow is Pajama day, and we have lots of other dress up days at school this week. (We just have to remember our money! In order to dress up for school spirit week, we have to pay $.50 a day to be out of uniform and the money goes to kids who have cancer to make them better)

Have a good week!

It's our Birthday!

Today is our sixth birthday! It's been so busy, we haven't gotten to the blog in a longtime!

The last time we wrote was November!

We spent Thanksgiving at Grandma & Grandpa Mark & Diane's. We got to visit Santaland and even saw Santa there! We saw the trains and signed the nice/naughty list. (We signed the nice list, of course.)

While we were there, Mommy & Daddy went shopping and bought a Wii for Grandma & Grandpa. So, we got to dance with aunt Angie, Grandma and even Grandpa!

We spent Saturday of Thanksgiving at Great Grandma Leona's house. We got to play with lots of cousins, eat yummy food, visit Santaland with our cousins again. It was a fun day, ending with Grandpa's popcorn and a movie with Lauren & Ben at the end of the day.

We had a short week at school after Thanksgiving. We were excited to go back to school, though! We really do love school.

The weekend after Thanksgiving was another busy one. Hannah got to dance at Winterfest with her dance class. She did a dance, but her class also danced to the DJ, so I got to dance to my favorite song - Call me Maybe! Hannah played a lot with her friend Abbey while I jumped, ran & danced. And, we saw our friend Ava from church! She had heart surgery a few weeks ago, and now is feeling better. Of course, we also got to go to the petting zoo and see a GIANT turkey. And, we took a hayride with Ava and her family.

That afternoon, we had our last day of volleyball. It was fun. Mommy wasn't able to come to our class this whole fall session until today. She said we're getting better every time we play! I guess practice does help.

night, we went to pick our tree! We picked a big FAT one and brought it home. It's a really nice one! Sunday after church, we came home and decorated the tree. What a fun day of decorating!

Sunday night, we got to experience something new. We got to go to the Holidazzle parade in Minneapolis. It was a long wait - we had to sit on the sidewalk and wait for an HOUR. Luckily, the store we sat near was open (it closed shortly after we got to our spot!) and Mommy could go buy blankets to sit on and cover up with. It was so AWESOME, though! It was really worth the wait. It kind of like the Disney Electric parade at Disney World, but Christmas themed!

Monday morning, as we were eating breakfast, Mommy & Daddy were standing in the living room talking, just as mommy was going to go shower and daddy was going to go to a meeting, when the tree fell down! Mommy and Daddy said they weren't mad that we were playing under the tree that morning, but they were mad that we weren't done with our morning lists before we turned on. Mommy & Daddy picked it up, cleaned up the broken ornaments and got it standing up again, but we know we have to be careful around the tree from now on.

We also started our Christmas countdown. I have a cutout of Santa that I place a puff-ball on his beard every day to count down to Christmas. Hannah has a cutout of a snowman that she places a puffball on every day to count down to Christmas. We're looking forward to our Birthday even before Christmas!

Friday, Daddy was playing with Cheyenne when I asked if I could play. She is a really strong dog to play with! But, she's a really fun dog. I love her!

Saturday, Mommy had a tournament, so we had a low-key day hanging out with Daddy. We kind of wanted to see Mommy, but she said there were no kids at the tournament, so we stayed home.

Sunday  morning we woke up to a WHOLE BUNCH OF SNOW! It was AWESOME!
We had a fun activity at Sunday School. We got to take a camera around the church and find items that brought us joy. We found a lot of things - Christmas tree, cookies, books... Then after Sunday School, we lit the Advent candle at Church.

We got a LOT of snow that day! We went out and played for a long time, built a snowman, had a snowball fight, and watched it snow. It was beautiful, but Daddy's snowblower broke, so Mommy & Daddy had to shovel 12 inches of snow! We loved it!

The next week was our last day of gymnastics! We've had fun with gymnastics but are ready to be done with it and go back to Soo Bahk Do class. We haven't been able to show off our gymnastics until tonight when Mommy & Daddy both got to watch us do our swinging on the bar, tumbling on the floor and jumping on the little vault.

The whole weekend was busy getting ready for Christmas and birthdays. Friday night, we went to Menards and bought a new snowblower. We're ready for some snow now! Too bad a lot of it melted over the weekend because it got to 35 degrees!

Saturday morning, we got up and made up birthday bags for our school friends. Mommy bought Hannah 4 different Owl themed party favors to pass out and she bought me dinosaur themed party favors. We made bags for all our friends in school, as well as our teachers. We're so excited to give them out to our friends!

After that, we went to Target and bought gifts for our daycare friends and each other. Then, we came home and played. After supper, we backed some cookies while Daddy dropped some stuff off at his cousin's house.

Sunday morning we had Sunday School, then after Sunday School, we got to go to brunch with our friends Ryan, Jackson & Kendra while our parents talked at Perkins. It was so fun! We love eating out - and getting to eat out with friends is even better! When we got home, we got to open our gifts from our Sunday School teachers. Mommy & Daddy are our teachers! They made gifts for everyone in our class, and we got them, too! They were bags with pockets for crayons, coloring books & crayons, light up bracelets and angel suckers. Hannah got one with Sparkly princess fabric and I got one with Cookie Monster & Elmo.

Monday, we got to deliver our daycare gifts to Sue after shool. We love getting to see Sue and all our friends. Sue even gave us our Birthday and Christmas gifts to bring home.

Today was the big day! We turned SIX! We woke up and our room looked like a circus because Mommy & Daddy decorated our room with streamers. We got to wear birthday crowns at school and lead the line - even in front of the line leaders! We passed out our birthday treats to our friends and they thanked us because they thought our treat bags were cool. Mommy picked us up at school so we didn't have to ride the bus home. We also got to bring home birthday bags with books, stickers, a journal page and a birthday animal from our classrooms. (Hannah got a stuffed frog that says "ribbit", I had the birthday bear.)

After homework, we got dressed and headed to the Mall of America. There were a lot of cars on the road, so I was afraid that Santa would get in his sleigh and go back to the North Pole before we got there! But we made it in time to go eat at Famous Daves. I had Mac & Cheese and Hannah had corn dogs & french fries. After our meals, they brought us birthday ice cream sundaes. The waiter brought them out with HUGE FIREWORKS on them! It was AWESOME, but kind of scary.

After we ate, we walked by Lego Land (AWESOME!!!) and went to wait for Santa. We had to wait about 20 minutes, but Santa was so worth it! We've met Santa every year on our birthday since the day we were born.

I asked Santa for a Cars 2 Lego Oil Rig set, and Hannah asked for a Monster High Doll.

After we got home, we had presents to open. Sue gave me a Connect 4 game and Hannah got a Littlest Pet Shoppe toy. Mommy & Daddy gave us new pajamas (Hannah got a princess nightgown and mine looked JUST like Spiderman!) and a camera. Mine was blue with Mickey Mouse on it and Hannah's was red with Minnie Mouse on it. We blew out our candles and ate birthday cupcakes. Mommy read us some of the birthday books from our birthday bags while we ate our cupcakes. After we put on our pajamas, we had to make our journal entries for school.

What a busy and exciting day! We fell asleep fast tonight!
Now we're looking forward to Christmas! We're heading to Grandma & Grandpa's house on Saturday for Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
Noah

School Carnivals, princess parties and volleyball

Monday night, we got to go with Daddy & Mommy to watch them play volleyball! We stayed in the hall and played, but still LOVED going to volleyball with them!

Noah had a bad week at school last week so he had to go to bed 15 minutes earlier all week. That gave me 15 minutes to read my chapter book with Mommy & Daddy. I've been reading a book called Lucky Star, but it was a little hard for me. When we came home from gymnastics on Wednesday, Mommy had gone to the library and picked out three new chapter books for me: a book called "the Tiarra Club", a Barbie novel, and Franny K. Stein, mad scientist. I was so excited to read the new books! I started with Barbie because I LOVE Barbie! She got Noah a Ninjago book and 2 Star Wars chapter books to read. He was so excited because he gets to read them when I'm at dance on Thursdays.

Thursday, he started on Ninjago but decided it was a little too hard. He preferred to read Star Wars books. We did ballet the whole time, so we got to show off our ballet dance to our parents. Daddy loved it! He was so sad he didn't record it on the iPad for Mommy. She's gotten to see my tap dance, but not my ballet this year.

Friday, Mommy picked us up and we went to Target to get a birthday gift for my friend Payton. I have been looking forward to her party since I got the invitation two weeks ago! After Target, we went home, changed our clothes and went back to school for the School Carnival. It was so much fun! We saw all our friends there, ate pizza, drank juice and played games. We had so much fun playing the games and getting new prizes at every game. We had yummy treats, too. I got cotton candy and Noah got ice cream. We also saw our babysitters there. We LOVE them! We got to hug them and say hi. We got home late and went to bed late, but it was so much fun!

Saturday was a really busy day! Mommy had a volleyball tournament with her Divas, so she left early for volleyball. My friend from dance, Abbey, came over to play with me in the morning, so we played dress up, Barbies, drew and colored. It was a fun morning! After she left, I hurried to get ready for my friend Payton's birthday party. The invitation said to wear a princess dress, so I had my princess dress, tiarra, gloves, tights and shoes all laid out and ready to wear. Mommy had even put curlers in my hair the night before, so my hair was pretty and curly!

We left early so daddy could get me to the party early, but we lost the invitation, so we had a hard time finding my friend's house! Luckily, Daddy had looked up the address on the iPad, so he found the address, but his GPS broke so we were a little late once we found my friend's house. I was excited to be there! We made tiarras, played in a tent and had cupcakes!

Since I was late to my party, Noah was a little bit late to volleyball. He was very nice and understanding. And, when he got to volleyball, he tried very hard and jumped REALLY high to spike the ball! After volleyball, Daddy got him a special treat at McDonald's and came to pick me up at my party.
Mommy came home late from her games and helped us shower before we went to bed. It was a busy day, so we fell asleep quickly!

This morning, we had Sunday School. We talked about angels and the Angel that came to Mary. We even got to put up the barn with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, the animals and the angel during class. It was a fun class - especially because we did a fun hidden picture game before we colored. Then we got to play in the nursery while Mommy & Daddy talked to their friends.

This afternoon, we went to the mall to have our pictures taken. We only did a family picture, not Noah & me alone. Mommy curled my hair to look pretty. And, while we waited for the picture to be done, we got a snack at Auntie Annie's and played in the play area.

It was a fun weekend. We have a short week at school, then are looking forward to Thanksgiving vacation at Grandma & Grandpa's house!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving this week!
Hannah

Great weekend with Angie, Grandpa & Grandma!

We've been very excited all week. Monday, Mommy told us that she and Daddy were going to play a volleyball tournament on Saturday and Angie would come stay with us!

Hannah had one more dentist appointment to get fillings in her mouth. I got on the bus without her and she went to Camp Smile on Thursday morning. Her & Mommy followed the bus all the way to our last stop while they were on their way to Camp Smile. Hannah got 3 little dinosaurs as a prize! I wondered where mine were when mommy gave them to her, but Mommy told me that she got them from the dentist and maybe she would share one with me so we could play dinosaurs together.

Thursday night we made a HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign for Angie because we knew she was coming the next night. The next morning, we decorated our bedroom with streamers that Mommy bought.

Friday after school, Mommy picked us up, we stopped at home to get a couple of things we wanted to give to Sue and went to Sue's house to see her! She was outside when we went to see her, so she was really excited to see us and hug us! We both love Sue and miss her a lot. We even got to go downstairs and see all our friends. It was so much fun to see Sue, her family and all our daycare friends. We even got to see the new puppy before we left at 5 o'clock. Then we quickly went home and cleared off the table because Angie got to our house just in time to eat supper with us!

It was my idea to make her a birthday pie instead of cake (because she LOVES apple pie) and to throw her a surprise birthday party the next time we saw her. So, she was surprised to see the birthday sign we made and even more surprised to see the apple pie that Mommy made for her birthday!

I got to try apple pie for the first time and I LOVED it! Hannah didn't like it so daddy ate her pie for her. At bedtime, we got to pick a book from Angie's iPad, so we got to have a fun bedtime story.

When we got up the next morning, we were quiet so Angie could sleep. But Mommy & Daddy were up to get ready for their tournament. When we got done with our morning lists, GRANDPA MARK came down the stairs! I was so excited I didn't know what to do until Daddy asked me who was on the couch and reminded me to hug him. Hannah and I were both SO excited to see Grandpa & Grandma!

I read to Grandpa and even FINISHED my Captain Underpants book. We went to volleyball and Grandpa and Grandpa and Angie told us we were SO much better than when they watched us last spring. Then we went to Sam's Club and Target. It as a great day! We even called Aunt Dani to wish her a Happy Birthday!

Mommy & Daddy came home for supper after their tournament. They had a fun time, but Daddy hurt his back while he was playing.

Today we went to Sunday School. Grandma & Grandpa didn't come with us since we just went to Sunday School and came home. It was a great day hanging out with Grandma & Grandpa - Grandma played legos with me and Barbies with Hannah, Grandpa watched the Vikings with Angie & Dad. We were really sad when they went home. We can't wait until Thanksgiving to see them again!

Have a good week!
